Transform Your Space, Transform Your Life: Empowering Talks on Decluttering, Time Management, and Organization

Katie

Welcome! I’m Katie McAllister, Certified Professional Organizer and founder of Susquehanna Organizing. With years of experience helping individuals and businesses declutter, simplify, and transform their spaces, I now offer engaging, impactful talks designed to inspire and motivate audiences to take control of their environment and mindset.

Whether you're looking to create a more organized home, improve your time management, or simply spark joy through decluttering, my speaking engagements are crafted to meet your unique needs. My goal is to empower your audience with practical tools and strategies that foster lasting change, both in their homes and their daily lives.

Signature Talks

1. Reframing Your Attitude Towards Clutter

Clutter isn't just physical. It’s a reflection of our mindset. In this talk, we explore how to shift your perspective on clutter from a burden to an opportunity for growth. Learn how to let go of guilt, judgment, and perfectionism, and discover simple strategies to reclaim your space, time, and energy.

2. Time Management & Overcoming Perfectionism

Perfectionism can be a major barrier to productivity and happiness. In this talk, I’ll show your audience how to break free from perfectionist tendencies and adopt time management strategies that prioritize progress over perfection. We’ll discuss actionable techniques to manage distractions, streamline decision-making, and focus on what truly matters.

3. Swedish Death Cleaning: Declutter with Purpose

Inspired by the Swedish concept of death cleaning, this talk takes a deep dive into the process of mindful decluttering with a focus on legacy. Attendees will learn how to simplify their lives by letting go of the unnecessary, making room for what truly matters, and organizing their spaces with intention.

4. The Power to Say NO: Boundaries in Your Space and Schedule

Setting boundaries isn’t just about saying no to others. It’s also about saying no to things that no longer serve you. This talk focuses on the power of leaving margin in your schedule and decluttering your home by letting go of items that no longer align with your priorities. Discover how creating space for what truly matters leads to greater clarity, focus, and peace.

5. More Time, Less Paper: Effective Paper Management

Paper clutter can be a major source of stress, but it doesn’t have to be! In this talk, I’ll share proven techniques for managing paper, from sorting and eliminating unnecessary documents to creating sustainable paper storage systems. Learn how to reduce paper overwhelm and reclaim your time.

6. Organize Your Way

Not all organizing systems work for everyone. In this talk, I’ll guide participants through the process of creating a personalized organizing system that works for them. Whether they’re visual thinkers, fear losing track of projects, or prefer clear spaces versus specific homes for every item, I’ll provide strategies for honoring their unique organizing style.
