Living The Bullseye Life

There’s a difference between living busy and living on purpose.

Most of us move through our days trying to keep up — keeping the calendar full, the house in order, the inbox from overflowing. We check boxes, chase balance, and fall into bed exhausted. But deep down, there’s a quiet question that doesn’t go away: Am I actually living what matters most?

Living the Bullseye Life isn’t about doing more. It’s about aiming better.

It’s about creating a life that reflects your deepest values — not just your obligations. It’s the moment you decide that your days deserve to be guided by clarity instead of chaos.

There have been seasons in my life when everything felt expansive — full of possibility, ideas, and new beginnings. And there have been seasons that contracted down to a single point of focus: caring for family through illness, loss, or big transitions.

Both kinds of seasons are sacred. The expanding ones invite us to dream, to reach, to build. The contracting ones remind us to slow down, to listen, to protect what’s most precious.

What I’ve learned is this: Intentional living isn’t about control; it’s about clarity.

Even in the hardest moments, there’s peace in knowing what your bullseye is — that one central aim that helps you decide what gets your time, your energy, your heart. Sometimes it’s family. Sometimes it’s health. Sometimes it’s rebuilding your sense of self after a hard chapter. The point is not to get it perfect. The point is to keep aiming.

When my dad passed away, life felt completely out of control. Grief rearranges everything. But every morning, I wiped down my kitchen counter — one small act that gave me a sense of order and grounding. It was the one corner of my world I could manage, a little circle of calm in the chaos. That simple habit reminded me: control isn’t the goal. Presence is.

That’s what Living the Bullseye Life is about — learning to find peace even when life feels messy, and purpose even when you’re standing still. It’s learning to let go of what no longer serves you and make room for what truly matters.

Maybe for you, that looks like simplifying your calendar. Or finally creating space to breathe, to dream again, to feel like yourself.

Whatever it is, you don’t have to overhaul your entire life to live intentionally. You just have to start — small, honest, imperfect.

Begin anyway.

Because life doesn’t demand perfection. It asks for presence.

And every time you choose to realign with your bullseye — to live your values out loud — you move closer to a life of peace, purpose, and quiet joy.
